LRBM is a well-established brick merchant in London and the Home Counties. For 75 years, our family-run business has reliably served both domestic and commercial sectors.
Our primary focus is to provide high-quality bricks while prioritising eco-friendly methods by salvaging materials from old buildings. By taking apart old structures with care, we save and reuse many of the bricks. This means you get top-quality materials with minimal environmental impact.
Our premium-quality reclaimed bricks have always been our main service. However, if you need the look of reclaimed bricks but with the convenience of new materials, we’ve expanded our range to include replica bricks. These clever alternatives look and feel just like reclaimed bricks, but they’re readily available when you need them.

- Can I collect my order instead of having it delivered?
Yes, if it is more convenient for you, you can pick up your order from our yard directly and we would be on hand to help you.
- Can I order a small sample before making a bulk purchase?
Yes, sample bricks are available free of charge for collection at our yard, alternative we’re happy to post you a box, the cost of this is £18 and you would received 3 full bricks (we recommend a box per brick type so you get a full idea of the range of colours).
- Can you source specific types of reclaimed bricks?
We have a large stock, so more than likely we have the brick you require in stock however if your requirement is more specific we may be able to source or manufacture something for you.
- Can I visit your site to see the bricks in person?
Of course, all our stock is kept at our West Drayton Yard and it’s open to the public to view within our opening hours (no appointment necessary).
- Do you offer trade accounts or bulk discounts?
All our prices are trade prices, so need for a dedicated trade account and we do offer bulk discounts for all our ranges.
- How many bricks make up a m2?
66 with reclaimed bricks and 60 with new bricks.
- What percentage of bricks should I allow for wastage?
You should allow 10% of the bricks to be wastage.
- What does Imperial Size mean?
This is the old style of sizing of bricks and on average is 225mm x 110mm x 68mm.
- What does Metric Size mean?
This is the new style of sizing of bricks and on average is 215mm x 100mm x 65mm.
- What does Tudor Size mean?
This is a brick size popularised by the Tudors and replicated until this day, on average 225mm x 110mm x 50mm.
- Are your bricks suitable for paving?
Most of our bricks will be, but please do get in contact us with your requirements and we can help you further with any clarifications.
- Do you offer special bricks?
Yes with offer a wide range of special bricks, view our range see what we have available.
- Do you have data sheets available?
We do not have any data sheets for our reclaimed bricks, as they are un tested so do not come with performance data. However, all our new bricks conform to BS EN771 – 1 and data sheets are available.
- Do you have parking on site?
Yes we do, so do not hesitate to drive over to our site to view our full range.
- What is your LRBM Range?
Our LRBM Range is our exclusive Imperial Sized handmade new brick range, designed especially to match old stock bricks. We go the extra mile with this stock to ensure they’re as authentic as possible including laying the bricks and reclaiming them before packing.
- Do new bricks last as long as traditional ones?
Yes, our new bricks are made using modern techniques, making them just as durable, if not more so, than traditional bricks.
- Will the new bricks match the traditional Buckinghamshire style?
Absolutely. We’ve designed them to complement Buckinghamshire’s architectural heritage, with a range of colors and textures to choose from.
- Can I use these bricks for a historic building project?
